Q1. How much is the fee charged by Golfin' Around, LLC?

A1. Golfin' Around, LLC offers a comprehensive range of services and therefore our fee structure is not entirely objective. Our services are offered on a full service basis as well as individually. While our fee ranges from $4,000 up to $10,000 depending on the anticipated scope of work, it is only after a consultation that we can propose an exact fee based on a particulat clients needs.

Q2. If our group decides to partner with Golfin' Around, does the entire fee need to be paid up front?

A2. No. Typically we collect 1/2 of our proposed and agreed upon fee at commencement of services and the balance within a week of the event. Payment terms are negotiable for non-profit clients, as we are sensitive to cash flow concerns and do our best to work out terms that are flexible when requested by a client.

Q3. How far in advance should we begin planning our event, and at which point should we retain a company like Golfin' Around, LLC should we be interested in doing so?

A3. Our professional opininon is that 6-8 months is an ideal timeline. As professionals we have worked on events with only one months time before the event date and while in each of these instances we were successful, it can pose problems and take away from some of the important details that need to be tended to in the final month and weeks leading up to an event.

Q4. Do the services offered by Golfin' Around, LLC help us raise funds and is there a guarantee that we will raise more funds by retaining your company?

A4. Our services, when taken full advantage, can absolutely help a fundraising Golf Tournament of any size raise more funds. Our services as they relate to non-profit Golf Outings are designed to handle many if not all of the administrative functions related to producing a Golf Event. This frees up the committee's resources and allows them to spend their time focusing on fundraising. Additionally, much of our consulting work is geared toward maximizing fundraising through creative concepts as well as through utilization of all available revenue streams, some of which clients often times are not aware of prior to engaging Golfin' Around, LLC. These concepts have proven successful to each of our clients who have implemented them. We are unable to guarantee that any specific event will raise more funds by simply hiring us due to circumstances beyond our control.

A5. The benefits of hiring Golfin' Around, LLC to produce a corporate outing are endless. First and foremost, often times Corporate Golf Outings are planned by a salaried or other employee. In these instances, the designated employee or employees can spend anywhere from 50-100 hours on tasks relating to the event. Not only is this financially inefficient, but the hidden negative is that time spent focusing on the Golf Outing is time taken away from the employee or employee's job, not to mention the fact that rarely are these employee's professionally trained and experienced as we are in managing a Golf Outing. A6. Yes! Golfin' Around, LLC is based in San Mateo, California and services all of California as well as the fifty United States. We are experienced with events that require us to travel and can include all travel and incidentals in our proposal while still remaining competitive, allowing our clients' to know ahead of time exactly what is required to retain us for events that require air travel.

Q7. How long has Golfin' Around, LLC been in business?

A7. Golfin' Around, LLC was originally founded as Golfin' Around Events in August of 2008. While our name changed to Golfin' Around, LLC in 2010, the company is owned and managed by the original founders. Therefore, for all intents and purposes, Golfin' Around has been in business for over three years.

Q8. If we hire Golfin' Around, LLC to perform services for a charity Golf Outing, do we still need a committee?

A8. Yes. The services provided by Golfin' Around, LLC as they pertain to charity functions are beneficial in that we are able to event manage the administrative functions which allows the committee to focus unilaterally on fundraising. Additionally, our consulting services offer non-profits unique ways to raise funds, which directly impacts the bottom line and in most cases more then covers the cost of retaining Golfin' Around, LLC. Ultimately, the more involved a committee becomes in an event the more successful the project ultimately will be.
